Welcome

Starting psychiatric care can feel overwhelming. My goal is to offer a thoughtful, collaborative approach that combines medication management with practical skills to support your mental health.

I work with adults (18+) and provide telepsychiatry services to patients located in Virginia.

What to Expect

  • Comprehensive psychiatric evaluation

  • Medication management informed by psychotherapy principles

  • Attention to factors such as sleep, stress, relationships, exercise, and daily routines

  • A collaborative, individualized treatment plan

Getting Started

Step 1: Optional 15-Minute Consultation (Complimentary)

This brief call is an opportunity to:

  • Ask questions about my practice

  • Discuss whether my approach may be a good fit

  • Review logistics (insurance, scheduling, next steps)

This consultation does not involve diagnosis, treatment, or prescriptions and does not establish a doctor–patient relationship.

The initial evaluation includes:

  • A comprehensive psychiatric assessment

  • Review of symptoms, history, and goals

  • Diagnostic impressions

  • Treatment planning

The psychiatrist–patient relationship is established during this visit.

Insurance & Payment

I accept many insurance plans through Headway. Services are billed according to the care provided. If you prefer to self-pay, I’m happy to provide a superbill upon request. HSA and FSA payments are also accepted. Payment details are reviewed prior to your appointment.

Self-Pay Rates:
• Initial intake appointment (60 minutes): $500
• Follow-up appointments are billed based on the length of the session at a rate of $500 per hour (for example, a 30-minute session is $250)
